Individual Therapy

Despite all of the technology we have at our fingertips, it seems easier than ever before to feel lonely, lost, disconnected, confused, or purposeless.  Therapy helps people discover who they are, how they make meaning in the world, and how to use that knowledge to live a more engaged, intentional, and connected life.

While the therapeutic process can often be inward looking, it is ultimately aimed at how we connect with others.  In our work together, I will help you look at how past experiences and attachments shape your current attitudes towards yourself and your relationships, and how the ways you relate to your thoughts and feelings may be keeping you stuck.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.  Together we will create a treatment plan based on your style and needs.  I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety and trauma (PTSD), and have extensive experience and training in working with the following:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder

  • Grief and Loss

  • Relationship Difficulties

  • Domestic and Sexual Violence

  • Low Self-Esteem

  • LGBTQI+

  • Existential Concerns

  • Relationship Difficulties

  • Major Life Transitions

  • Anger Management

  • Attachment Difficulties

Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself.
