Couples Therapy
There is no one right way to be a family. Family is the singular element in our lives that has the power to bring us great joy, but also pain. Often, couples coming to therapy are anxious about being blamed. This is not how I conduct therapy. I approach treatment from a strengths-based and systems perspective, and will work collaboratively with you and your partner to build a safe and trusting environment.
Common issues I work with couples and families on include:
Affairs and Infidelity
Emotional Distancing
Loss of Trust
Difficulties with Sexual Intimacy
Setting Boundaries
Parenting Stress
Supporting Family Members with Emotional Disorders
Feeling Alone and Isolated in the Relationship
Life Transitions
In-Laws
Different Parenting Styles
