Therapy for Residents
of Reston
Many residents of Reston who find their way to therapy have already looked inward, already know the vocabulary, already have a pretty good sense of what's going on with them. What they're looking for isn't someone to explain anxiety or trauma to them, it's someone who can actually help them change. Reston attracts people who have built things deliberately — careers, families, lifestyles that reflect real choices and real effort. That makes it a particularly disorienting place to feel stuck or empty, because the external evidence suggests there's no good reason to. That kind of suffering is often the hardest to take seriously, and the hardest to talk about. It tends to show up as flatness, disconnection, or a quiet sense that something is missing. If that resonates, you're in the right place.
